Ofill Echevarría was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1972 and made his debut as a member of the Arte Calle (Street Art) Group in 1988, before graduating from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in 1991. The following year he moved to Mexico City, where he lived until 2002. He currently lives and works in New York, USA.
Since his first solo show in Havana, “Plastic Industry” (1991), Ofill has exhibited individually in galleries and institutions of Mexico and Latin America, as well as in the United States: Multicultural Center University Of Rhode Island. Kingston, RI (2000); Feinstein Providence Campus University Of Rhode Island. Providence, RI (2012); Carriage House Center for the Arts [The Gabarron Foundation] New York, NY (2013).

Besides his achievements in the field of Painting, and his work as engraver (he hold a B.A as engraver & draftsman), Ofill works on the development of Digital Art and Photography, and serves as independent producer and publisher for the World Wide Web.
